Grant Manager11/05/08

This position will support the fund raising efforts of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley through researching major and leadership donors, volunteers and prospects, so as to learn more about their educational, family and work history, relationships with other business and community leaders, and their capacity to contribute generously. The Grant Manager will manage and develop databases and prospect tracking systems in an effort to increase major and leadership giving support, and to develop new business opportunities.

The Grant Manager is responsible for reporting to the Senior Director, Grant Development and supporting the Senior Director, Compliance and Grant Finance. The position is a multi-faceted opportunity for the right candidate to participate in all aspects of grant finance, administration and development. The Grant Manager will work closely with the Senior Director, Grant Development to research grant prospects, write and edit grant proposals, programmatic and financial reports, and related correspondence all within required deadlines. Under the direction of the Senior Director, Compliance and Grant Finance the Grant Manger will also be responsible for the maintenance of templates containing key organizational data, development of grant budgets, and for ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, United Way of America membership standards, and grantor requirements.  read more »

Development Director, Leadership Giving10/06/08

This Development Director builds and stewards relationships with high net-worth donors, Corporate Partners and prospects within the Investment Division in the greater Boston and Merrimack Valley area. This position also represents United Way at corporate and community functions and recruits volunteers to provide support for United Way initiatives. Traffic and Proofreading Manager09/19/08

The Traffic and Proofreading Manager is the hub of the marketing group and, by tracking the creative development and production process for all marketing collateral and sales support materials, serves as the underpinning for much of the organization’s day-to-day work. Reporting to the Creative Director, the manager is the go-to person within the group, responsible for tracking all facets related to the development of creative work - from concept to budgeting to prioritizing workloads, through to proofreading, production and delivery of materials. This person works closely with both the creative and marketing managers and directors, the “internal clients” and the organization’s purchasing manager, to ensure flawless execution. A confident and detail-oriented individual, the traffic/proofreading manager is comfortable juggling several projects at one time, communicating with multiple clients, and enjoys being the one individual in the organization who has their hands in all projects and knows the status of all jobs at all times.  read more »
