FY12 Grant Opportunities

This communication is to provide an update on TGTL.  First, with regard to the end of the current TGTL funding cycle, attached you will find the format for the end of year report due on February 3, 2012. Please send this report to Lisa Pickard at lpickard@supportunitedway.org.  She will also be available to answer any questions regarding the report at 617.624.8124.

We can take great pride in the fact that the Today's Girls Tomorrow's Leaders initiative has spanned more than a decade now and has supported the efforts of so many community-based agencies to better meet the needs of girls in our communities. We are currently in the process of reassessing our efforts to date in light of the progress we have made, the remaining unmet needs, as well as our continued ability to raise the funding necessary to continue grant making.  We are in discussions with key capacity-building partners, donors, and other similarly-minded funders to review options for a continued focus and intentionality on gender sensitive programming. Please stay tuned for further information in January 2012, and thank you for your continued efforts on behalf of the many girls and young women you serve.
